Background

I was born in Nicaragua, Central America and immigrated to the United States of America during a very tumultuous time in my country’s history. Since then, I've found excitement in exploring and learning from the east and west coasts… and many places in between. After transforming these humble beginnings into a dedicated work ethic, my deep passion for exploring different design spaces and cultures was unleashed!

Since saying farewell to the Central Valley in California, I have traveled extensively, both nationally and internationally, collaborating and partnering with some amazing creatives, design strategist and entrepreneurs.

I've held senior management roles in agencies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area working with such clients as: NFL PLAYERS Association, KEEN Footwear, E*Trade, GAP, eatsa® and various non-profit initiatives. My previous role as Senior Design Director for Forty Forty Agency, in Berkeley and Boston, had me leading and managing design teams to successfully create unique branding systems for emerging start-ups and national, high-profile brands. My strengths lie in creating smart, multi-dimensional communication systems that span print, identity systems, advertising, brand image creation, digital user experiences.

After spending a decade of my career working in San Francisco and New York, and recently… 41 plane rides and 23km on motorbike later (with no luggage lost)… I’m excited to share my inspiration and energy for design with you!
